Been a while since we posted here, but great things have been afoot...first of all, we were selected to play at the Austin Celtic Festival this year (Nov 1 & 2). Second, we recorded our first CD, Celtic Heartland, which will be available for purchase with your money on November 1. If you don't catch us at the festival, it will soon be available for purchase online. Last, but not least, we are booked to play at the Bothy Folk Club in Mankato, Minnesota in May of 2009, so we're planning a midwest tour!

Sorry for the long radio silence, but we've been busy with lots of good things! We've recorded our first demo of Celtic songs, which you can hear on the Sound page. Also, Lisa has a role in Pirates of Penzance with the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Austin, which opens today and runs through June 29. Come down and enjoy!

Last Saturday was so much fun! Thanks to all our fans and friends who took over the street corner. Maybe they'll install seating for next time? Beaking news: we were asked to play for three hours at Maxine's restaurant in downtown Bastrop this Saturday, April 19th. See the Events page for details!

Lots going on right now! We've been doing a lot of home recording, and we're planning some studio time to record a proper demo. I posted some sound samples from our recent home sessions on the Sound page. I also moved all our live concert video content to its own page.

Happy New Year everyone! I just posted a video clip from our December 8 show in downtown Bastrop. Unfortunately, it was a very windy day--that's the heavy breathing you hear in the clip, not the videographer! So most of the sound on the video we took that day wasn't so great. Maybe next time!

We had a great time at the Second Saturday street fair in downtown Bastrop last weekend. Thanks to everybody who came out and supported the local Bastrop artisans and we're glad you all enjoyed the music!
